What's the Application Object of Induction Heating?
Dec. 17, 2015
Induction heating is the process of heating an electrically conducting object with induction heating equipment, through heat generated in the object by eddy currents. But what is the application objects of this technology? As a professional induction heating machine manufacturer, Duolin Electric will answer this question as below.
According to the British physicist Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction, we know that magnetic energy can produce electricity. And at the same time, Oster, a Danish natural philosopher, told us that electricity can produce magnetic by his “right-hand rule”.
However, whether magnetic producing electricity or electricity converting to magnetic, the object must own excellent electrical conductivity, magnetic permeability. Generally, only metal materials accord with the conditions. For non-metallic materials, only graphite and a very few substance satisfy the requirement. Therefore, induction heating technology is mainly used to heat metallic materials and graphite.
