The Frequency and Application Range of the Induction Hardening Machine

According to the different frequency of the induction hardening for surface heating, it can be divided into the super high frequency(27MHz), high frequency(200~250kHz), medium frequency(2500~8000Hz). So because of the different frequency of the current of the induction hardening machine, the heating depth of current penetration is different too. The high frequency is mainly used for the surface hardening of the little size gears and axis parts because of the shallow depth of current penetration about (0.2-2mm). The super high frequency is mainly used for the surface hardening of the sawtooth, cutting edge and other thin workpieces.
